Modal working without the background overlay

  • Well, i installed easy modal! and it wrked for me with the option (sitewide), but when the modal shows up! it does not have an overlay(the black background that hides everything else in the website)!, i don’t know where is the problem?
    and why the modal works only when it is sitewide (not per page) ?

    Hey selmane,

    Sounds like you have checked the box on the display tab for disabling the overlay. This will prevent that from displaying with that modal.

    Also if you choose per page, you will need to enable it by editing the pages/posts you want it loaded on and checking the box under the Easy Modal Settings section for each modal you want to use on those pages/posts.

    The box is already unchecked! i tested with the checked one!!
    well i shows a white overlay without opacity! and if i scroll down! the modal will no longer be shown

    is there something missing on my theme !! or a matter of configuration

    Sounds like your modal theme ( not your theme theme ) is set with a low opacity for the Overlay. Check that.

    The scroll down affect is due to not checking the fixed position option in the display settings. Checking that should result in the modal staying in position as the user scrolls down.
