Hello! I seem to be having a problem with the z-index on the dropdown menu on a site – The Events Calendar is on top of the dropdown menu (you can see it at https://www.siouxlandhba.com/events/). I’ve tried changing the z-index in ten or twelve places in my child theme’s CSS, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. As I don’t speak CSS, I’m going by trial and error – which thus far has been all error unfortunately.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated – I’m kinda struggling…

    Howdy HippieBoy,

You are spot on, this is a z-index issue. You should set your drop down menu’s z-index to 100 or greater. Those two buttons, and their drop downs, are bother set to 99 by default. So you probably just need to find whatever rule is making your drop downs blue and what not, then add a z-index.

    CHeers!
