For some reason one (of many) domain mapped sites enters a redirect loop after update to 0.55 version. I am investigating if there is a plugin conflict but there is no obvious candidate yet…
When I set preferred domain to original multisite name everything works fine.

I have many sites with using different plugins and all other domain mapped sites works fine.
I will update if I find problem.

Definitely mapping problem. As soon as I reverted back to 0.5.4.3 version the mapping works. I will try to find out what is singular for this particular site compared to the other domain mapped sites that work fine in 0.5.5 ver on this MS install. It is not a unique plugin or theme so probably a combination of plugs or theme plug interaction.

I also had this problem when I updated to 0.5.4.4. I have not yet tried 0.5.5

I also have reverted to 0.5.4.3

0.5.5 is the correct version. There isn’t a 0.5.4.4 version. I released without changing the version in the plugin header.

0.5.5 seems to work. I must have gotten a little mixed up with the version number.

    Thanks!

    OK, I spoke too soon.

About an hour after installing the update to 0.5.5 one of my subsites went into a redirect loop.

Although I am still confused by the version numbering, reverting to 0.5.4.3 solves the problem immediately.

I’m having the same problem. Updating to 0.5.5 caused one (but only one) of my subsites to have a redirect loop. Strangely enough, I can access wp-admin on the site, just not the content.

If it helps, I believe the site that’s having problems is the first subsite I created.

I still haven’t found out if it is plugin that is causing this. Sadly my misbehaving sub site is not the first subsite in the multisite install. I cannot for the life of me find what is special with this particular site…

Updated to 0.5.5.1 today, and the problem is now fixed. Thank you!

Yes, the latest version seems to have fixed the issues I was having too. Thank you!

I too would appreciate seeing an updated changelog.

This thread could likely be tied together in relation to the issues here:

Hi there. I have the problem with redirection I think. I would like to map domain so that if user goes to domain https://www.keystoneadvisers.lv (Latvian site) then he will see the site https://www.keystoneadvisers.ee/lv, but without user being redirected to this url, address bar should stay https://www.keystoneadvisers.lv. Okay I get it, here’s what I did.

    1) I created a site in WordPress under Sites as https://www.keystoneadvisers.lv
    2) Set the Siteurl as https://www.keystoneadvisers.ee/lv
    3) Set the Home as https://www.keystoneadvisers.ee/lv
    4) And mapped the domain keystoneadvisers.lv under Settings/Domains with the site ID and all.

But still, when I go to https://www.keystoneadvisers.lv then I’m being redirected to https://www.keystoneadvisers.ee/lv. I think I have set the Site incorrectly? Maybe Site should be something else as well as Siteurl and Home?
