I’m using the shortcode to put a playlist on a page. I’ve tried adding the info for each track but all I get is the filename (same as title). That is- I’m adding the metadata within each audio file in wordpress. Should this work, or do I need to add the metadata before uploading to WP?

    Thanks!

Sorry, figured it out. Must be changed within the Playlist by clicking on each track.

No worries, I was just typing out a response. The track details should be auto-populated with the audio metadata when you first insert the attachment as a track, so if the metadata exists beforehand, you shouldn’t have to enter it again.

Aside from providing a little more flexibility, doing it this way also allows for remote files to be added as tracks.

    Cheers,
    Brady
