Adding custom stuff to member login welcome page

  • I want to add an option for members to download a certificate from their member login welcome page. I would like for them to be able to check off a list of courses they completed, and the names of those courses would appear on their certificate and they can print it out – along with their name and the date. So I would create the certificate with our seal and specific verbiage, but it would print only the courses they selected. Hope that makes sense!

    Can anyone help me with a code for this? I am not a coder, but I’m capable of copying and pasting shortcode onto a page.

  • s2member is not an LMS. You would need another plugin entirely to generate such certificates. I suggest you search the repo for something suitable.

    Yes, I know it’s not an LMS.

    Forget about the verbiage “courses” for a moment. Instead, what if I had a pdf document and I want them to be able to select from a drop down list of items to include on the pdf document, and also include their name?

    What plugin will work with s2Member to accomplish this?

    It’s not just about courses. s2Member just doesn’t contribute to content.

    s2Member can’t tell the difference between a subscription that has expired, or been deleted, been “successfully completed,” or whatever. All it knows is what is current, what is not, when the next payment is due, and when the EOT is.

    So the plugin you need has to manage everything concerned with creating the PDFs you are are looking for.
