questions on whitelisting files/folders

  • Hi there! I am loving this plugin so far and if I can get some final bits sorted out, I will be a super happy and paying customer! While testing, I found an issue for the application we’re building:

    There are two plugins I’m using on this site (Kimiji Flash Embed for a virtual tour file and Download Manager for some downloadables we’d like to track). Everything was working perfectly until I locked down WordPress via iThemes Security. Now the virtual tour doesn’t show up and users can’t download files.

    I thought if I whitelisted the directories, I’d be good, but no go. I am not married to either of these plugins, so would take a recommendation on replacement plugins or help with a workaround. It’s also possible that I whitelisted these incorrectly and maybe you could review that:
    /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/
    /wp-content/uploads/2014/01/tour/

    To view the site, you’d have to edit your hosts file, so I’m hoping I’ve given you enough information here. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
