Twenty 14 theme

  • I am testing the Twenty fourteen theme and was wondering:
    1. Why doesn’t the home page (here my posts are posted) show up as one of the pages on the header?
    2. Is there a way to add a banner ad that would sit under the header image and extend full width on the page?
