login redirecting to an incorrect site

I have a problem where I cannot login to my site to make any changes or to word press am I being a bit thick.

I have looked at the main page (www.robbiedawson.co.uk/ourfirstrenovation) and the source code directs the login to https://www.robbiedawson.co.uk/wp-login.php (sorry I made a typo above) this does not exist.

If I then go directly to https://www.robbiedawson.co.uk/ourfirstrenovation/wp-login.php it takes me to the login, if I then login it takes me back to https://www.robbiedawson.co.uk/wp-login.php

I am now stuck totally, it may be worth me deleting the database tables totally and re-installing word-press – how do I find the tables to delete them?

I think Hedley’s link is a good place to start. It appears that your Blog settings are pointing to the wrong site location and the redirects are taking you to the wrong place.

If you have access to the site database (via phpMyAdmin or similar), navigate to the table wp_options and edit the options where option_name is siteurl or home. This must point to https://www.robbiedawson.co.uk/ourfirstrenovation and not https://www.robbiedawson.co.uk

This is where I need to rope in a friend… He has hosted the site for me and has accessaco the site database. He is now sorting it for me.
