Configuring a pool league

    Hi, I love the flexibility of this plugin however I am struggling to set up the site for a pool league. I think I’m over thinking it all but if you could offer some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

    I’ve noticed that there is already a snooker league pre-configured so I started with that and I am editing it accordingly. I’m sure you’re aware of how pool leagues work but so that we are on the same page I’ll explain below.

    Each match consists of 9 games which break down as follows:

    1st singles game
    2nd singles game
    1st doubles game
    3rd singles game
    4th singles game
    2nd doubles game
    5th singles game
    6th singles game
    7th singles game

    Each player must play a single game and 2 players are randomly picked for each of the ‘doubles’ games.

    I need to record statistics for each player as follows:

    % of wins overall

    % of wins when playing only single games
    % of wins when playing the 1st game
    % of wins when playing the 2nd game … 3rd, 4th etc

    % of wins when playing a doubles game
    % of wins when playing the 1st doubles
    % of wins when playing the 2nd doubles

    If it is easier for me to give you access to my site or talk through what is required via some remote software (such as TeamViewer) I am more than happy to comply.

    @ordog glad to hear you’re enjoying the plugin!

    The latest update introduces an “Individual” option for events, so that players can compete without being associated with a team.

    Regarding the statistics, I would recommend creating a competition called “Singles” and another one called “Doubles”. Then, you can display separate statistics for singles and doubles per player.
