Cannot change title and description

Hello,

I’m having a problem making my website appear correctly in the local search results. When you search for me in Google I appear as “A WordPress Site/ Just another WordPress site”. It looks extremely unprofessional. I’ve edited the title and description under settings>general about 6 weeks ago and WordPress SEO plugin gives me a snippet as if I were to appear correctly. I can’t figure out this problem and no one has a solution. Please help!
