• Hi,

Thank you for Great plugin! Really cool one.
But there is some poor TinyMCE editor for adding or editing posts. With some limitations of editing buttons.
I installed another plugin “TinyMCE advanced” for extending these features. I am not developer or programmer, please, write how to remove these limitations to get extended TinyMCE editor for posts?

    Best regards,
    Yurgen

    Hello Yurgen,

    Thanks for your kind words.

Actually, the plugin doesn’t use the advanced editor due security issues. If we put the advanced editor users will be able to upload media through the editor. We cannot control that.

We used the advanced editor when we started with the plugin, we ended up removing it due the great amount of complaints we received.

What we’ve implemented is “teeny” editor.

I hope my reply helps to clarify things out.

    Best Regards
    Frank

Thanks for quick reply. Very fast.
    I’ve understood what you mean.
But I do not need to upload media files through the editor. I need, for example, to choose fonts size & family, font color, add table and so on. No file uploads.
If you help me to do this, it would be GREAT with great plugin!

    Best regards,
    Yurgen

    Hello Yurgen,

I didn’t want you to think we’re ignoring you.

It’s just what you’re asking will involve a change which will impact the whole plugin. We will add a feature so you can activate under your own risk the advanced WP HTML editor, that will give you almost all the options to customize the test you see when adding a new post.

Thanks for your patience and understanding
    Best Regards,
    Frank
