Received an order on December 1 for three products.

Received two more orders after that, one each for one product. Not a big deal. Except…

Today I received a complaint that only one item may be ordered at a time. On testing, I find that, when each item added knocks the previous item out of the Shopping Cart, so that it appears to only hold one item.

Proceeding to Checkout shows only the last item added.

    What’s going on?

I have modified some of the code, as directed by WPMU DEV Support. Possibly there is a “multiples factor” missing from the code provided to me?

    My Store is here: https://www.leeaaron.com/store/

    Thanks!

    Further info:
Possibly what is causing the problem is the code noted in this posting: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/request-order-on-same-page?replies=2#post-6277078

However, I implemented that code on November 29 and, as I say, I received an order for three items on December 1.

As far as I can remember, I have made no further changes to the structure of the website. Added Posts only. Made minor changes to Pages but made no changes to any functions.php files and such.

Hoping you can figure out what happened because I sure cannot! ??

    Thanks again!

Argh! I have just found out everything works fine and proper in Chrome and in IE. I am seeing the problem in Firefox … which just updated itself this week. I have no idea what the problem is though, so still in need of assistance. Thanks!

Turns out, for me, it was a matter of emptying the cache and clearing cookies in Firefox.
But now the customer who originally complained about this problem said she is having it in BOTH Chrome and Internet Explorer. That seems odd, when those both work for me.
I have posted a note on the page to empty cookies and clear cache but no idea….

On a separate note, somebody over on the Mozilla forums said I should be using https on the store page and it uses http. I haven’t really looked into that, but if you have any insight into is before I dig in, maybe you can explain.

    Thanks!

    Hi @saladgoat,

Thanks for posting on the forum.

I have tested adding products in the shopping cart on your site https://www.leeaaron.com/store/ and found it’s working fine as displayed in the following screenshots.

I don’t think it’s https protocol related issue.

Is it happening only with that customer?

Could you please ask him to test it by deactivating all browser add-ons and making sure that the cookie is enabled on the browser?

Also ask him to test it on other system.

    Kind Regards,
    Vinod Dalvi
