Option to change votes in Pro version only?

  • Just curious — I’ve looked and looked.

    Has anybody else noticed that the option to change the number of votes in a particular answer disappeared?

    Wondering if that is a Pro version thing only, but there’s no documentation on the Pro version.

    I can still go into the database and do it manually, but it was a cool feature to have.

    Anyway, YOP is still the #1 polling plugin in the WordPress repository!

    The feature you are referring to is still present in the free version.

    You can find it under View Votes.

    Thanks YOP! I still cannot find any button or link for “View Votes” .. perhaps it has something to do with the manual code we implemented when debugging an issue.

    For the poll you want to change the number of votes, go to View Votes.

    On the new page you should see a button on the top left called Add Vote(s).

    Okay, so you can add them one at a time, etc., but not bulk add or delete as in previous versions.

    I don’t know if this is a bug, but on any poll I try to do this on, I get the message:

    Answer input from answer 1 Question 1 is not set!

    Still a great plugin. Thanks a lot for your help; I’ll just manually edit the database to bulk add/delete. Also, putting up a little splash page for the Pro version and the features might be a good thing.

    You are getting the error message because you selected an answer but did not set the number of votes to add.

    On version 5.3 we made the process easier. You can add votes to all poll answers from within the same window.

    All you need is to click on the Add Vote(s) button, check the response you want to add votes to and set the number of votes to be added.

    There is no option to set the number of votes to add — in any of the polls.

    It’s okay though; I’ll keep using this awesome plugin and just manually change ’em in the database.
