    I ended up deactivating and removing GCal Events plugin and replacing it.

    @dwcasey,

    Sorry to hear that. If you decide to give it another shot and need some help, let us know and we will do our best to help.

    Thanks!

    Having same problem – can be seen at https://www.stmarysonthehill.org – if you could fix this issue that would be great. It was working before I upgraded to WP 4.1 and GCal Events to whatever the latest version is that works with the new Google Calendar stuff.

    Should note that when I deactive GCal Events, the slideshow works just fine. When the GCal Events plugin is not, the console logs this error and the slideshow doesn’t work:

    Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function (jquery.min.js?ver=1.5.1:16)

    @mike719,

    There is probably a JavaScript conflict going on. GCE loads jquery 1.6+ because that is what it is needed to run the tooltips. We also follow all of WordPress best practices to load any styles and scripts.
