    WordPress: 4.1
    WP e-commerce 3.9.1
    Theme: Accesspress lite 2.30

Hi, can you advise pls for our store?
I have updated WordPress to 4.1 this evening and also updated WP e-commerce to 3.9.1. After updating WPEC I am now receiving the error message “RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: SSL: certificate subject name ‘getshopped.org’ does not match target host name ‘wpecommerce.org'”.

I haven’t installed any new plugins.
I have flushed the WPEC cache but this hasn’t helped.

Does anyone know why this error is occuring and what to do to fix?

    Kind regards,
    Jules

  • I’m seeing the same error and things just seem to be jumbled within my shopping cart.

    Any idea what is happening?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

i think this article explains it : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/please-help-274?replies=9

“RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: SSL: certificate subject name ‘getshopped.org’ does not match target host name ‘wpecommerce.org'”. is caused by the RSS still pointing to an old feed from our old site

    Thanks,
    Ray

    Hi @ray-instinct,

we are still seeing the same problem with message on the dashboard – RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: SSL: certificate subject name ‘getshopped.org’ does not match target host name ‘wpecommerce.org’

The article you pointed out says to install the latest version of the plugin but the WP e-commerce plugin version installed is 3.9.1. That is the latest version isn’t it?

How do we tell the RSS to point to the new feed and remove this error message?

    Thanks,
    Jules

I’m just doing a new install into root directory now and using WP 4.1 doesn’t seem compatible with WP E commerce 3.9.1. The brand new installation keeps blank screening suggesting that some paths aren’t correct in the new version of WP 4.1 and the plugin is trying to find those paths to no avail. I’d have to have a look further into the new release of 3.9.1 but I’d suggest rolling back you database and re installing the old plugin.

    Hi there,

I just did a fresh install of WP 4.1 and WP eCommerce 3.9.1 : https://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1184399/Jing/2015-01-18_2109.swf

Where is the blank screening that you are seeing @ezwebdesigns ?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

I updated both theme and plugin and when adding an item to the shopping cart, it’s loading “Oops! The Shopping cart is empty page.”

    See: https://saturnworkspedals.com/shop/utilities/volume-pedal

If you add an item you’ll see it happen. I’ve tried reverting settings but I don’t know what the defaults were and reinstalling the plugin loaded the old settings…caching?

    Help is much appreciated!!

    Hi there,

Try to clear up your transient cache or other caches. There’s a plugin that clears up transient cache at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/

Let me know if that works out for you.

Howdy! Thanks for the response. I tried clearing the transient caches and others but no dice. Plugin still reloads with old settings in place.

I see that the designer used the advanced settings functions to move the following files into the theme:

    wpsc-transaction_results.php
    wpsc-shopping_cart_page.php
    wpsc-grid_view.php
    wpsc-products_page.php
    wpsc-default.css
    wpsc-user-log.php
    wpsc-single_product.php
    wpsc-list_view.php
    wpsc-cart_widget.php

The database is in SQL which I am less familiar with editing than cPanel. Is this perhaps the reason things aren’t updating correctly between the plugin and WP 4.1?

@iliaxia you seem to have a cookie problem.
I opened your store and the customer cookied that WP eCommerce sets does not exist.
I also notice in your console a javascript error and also your jquery version looks hardcoded and not the one that comes with WP eCommerce which is a bit old on your store.
Most likely its hard coded in the theme.

That’s what I figured. OK! Will get to work on it.

Will you please stop setting this post to resolved. It isn’t resolved at all.

We still have the RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: SSL: certificate subject name ‘getshopped.org’ does not match target host name ‘wpecommerce.org’

We have the latest WP, the latest plugin, have cleared cache etc and still not sure how to tell the RSS to point to the new feed.

How do we tell the RSS to point to the new feed and remove this error message?

    Thanks,
    Jules

    Hi Jules,

If you don’t mind and are willing to let us take a look at your site, do you mind sharing your ftp credentials to [email protected]? Please be sure to backup your entire site to be safe.

    Thank you,
    Ray

I was doing some updates for a friend’s website and we now have a major error.

    1. All the products pictures disappeared.
    2. None of the products link in the page.

    Please take a look:
