Override default number of posts on expired events page

  • Hi. Great plugin and it has done pretty well all I needed.
    However, I have created an expired events page for a client who wants to show a list of past events on his website. I have used the shortcode:
    [event_embed from=”2010-01-01″ to=”today-1″ order=”reverse”]
    which works fine. However in the Settings I have the Blog pages show at most set at 10 posts. There are more than 10 expired events, however this setting means only 10 show on the page and there is no more (or equivalent link) to the next 10 events as you would normally expect on an archive page. Is there any code I can include to make this happen, or can I override the maximum number of posts to show on this page alone?

    Hi!

    You can set the maximum number of results with limit, ie:

    [event_embed limit="100"]

    Adding pagination would be more involved – though completely possible – however you might wish to break away from a shortcode based solution and use the Event Embed functionality programmatically (see the wiki) to do that … or indeed work directly with The Events Calendar’s own code.
