Hi! I’m finding this theme pretty straightforward but there are a very few things I need to tweak that I might need help on. I’m not a hundred on it if I should post a different thread for each of them but here they are.

    1. I need to know how I can include the header subtitle (p.lead element) in every page, as when I browse through my pages (besides the static front page, with the size of the header image, the title alone looks very [if i may say] “lonely & awkward”.

    2. Or I may need to just exclude the header image and the page title from showing in other pages except the static pages. How do I that?

    3. I’d like to be able to tweak the nav/menu bar at the very top to make it float (stay on top as the page scrolls) but not affect the layout. I tried tweaking it a few days ago, and it adjust the header down, overlapping the body content.

I’ve only been getting my tweaks from different threads while I do a trial and error thing. It’s helping me though to learn more so I don’t mind.

I’d appreciate any help from you, chaps. Cheers!

    Hi!

    Thank you for your query.

The tweaks required involve the creation of a child theme in order to make the edits in the relevant files – with a child theme in place, any edits that a made will not be lost upon theme updates.

Having looked at the tweaks rather than explainign the entire process, I’ve gone ahead and written a post together with creating a child theme for you.

You can find the notes and the download link here: https://www.wpstrapcode.com/blog/unconditional-child-theme

I hope that will help with your customization and tweaks but should you need further assistance please feel free to ask.

    Regards,
    Zulf
