problems with avatar

  • Hi,

    I installed the plugin “Simple Local Avatars” to upload avatars from its own computer or gravatar but it didn’t work so I uninstalled it. Thus I installed “Buddypress” and “Avatar Manager” plugins but the function to upload avatars still didn’t work. Now I have only “Avatar manager” installed. Does your theme support avatar uploading? If yes, what happens to me? Try to go here: https://www.robertolezzi.it/angolo-giusto/ and, at the end of the page, you will find details of my profile without an avatar (that I have uploaded from the backend via “Avatar Manager”). Why?
    Also, where to go to translate in Italian user profile details ?(Always see the link https://www.robertolezzi.it/angolo-giusto/ at the end, in English now).

    I see an avatar there. I’m guessing this is resolved?
    You can use a plugin like this one for translations or you can do it manually using the provided .pot file in the languages folder.

    Yes,it has been solved by checking the network “show avatar on comments”. Thanks forma the info about the plugin: beautiful!
    Other questions:

    1) how to display social network links on profile bio at the end of every article? I filled in all the fields from the backend but nothing appears in the frontend;

    2) the social icons don’t work on mobile browsers (no links),isn’t it? How to solve it?
