Simple links and qTranslate (language selection does not work properly))

I am a happy user of Simple Links but my site is bilingual and most of the contents is available in two languages. For this I use qTranslate, or to be precise its derivative qTranslateX. But when I tried to include link descriptions in both languages then both were visible at the same time (whatever language was selected, both texts were visible). The author of qTranslateX was really helpful and suggested modification of SimpleLinksTheLink.php which corrected my problem Now the language selection works and the link description is shown only in the language selected but this will obviously stop working after an upgrade so I just wonder if it would be possible to include this sort of modification in the official version of your plugin ?
