• Hi, in the mobile or tablet version the menus collapse and I would like to show every item directly. What CSS customization should I put? Is there a way to reduce the font or size of the words in the menus so that they appear in one line easily?

Thanks in advance and congratulations for this wonderful theme!

  • Hi Abaratando. The responsive menus are controlled by media queries in the theme style.css file. You could copy those css sections to a child theme css file and adjust the point at which the menus collapse. The font size doesn’t adjust automatically so you’d need to add the css to reduce the font size within one of the existing media queries, or create a new media query to change the size at whatever point you designate. The responsive control for other parts of the theme are in the responsive.css file. Hope that helps.

thank you! but I am a newbie and i dont understand anything about code… I just copy, paste and mess around with the questions and responses I see on this forum. However for this issue I didnt find anything.. Does somebody know what part of the style I have to change?

Many thanks and sorry if I am too newbie…

I’m also a newbie – when it comes to CSS. I have a large Hueman themed site and a regular advertiser whose ads are served at the top in left sidebar. Fine for lap/desktops, even iPads in horizontal, but it usually collapses on smartphones. It would be great to keep the ad visible somehow… like Abaratando, I have high mobile traffic (40-50%) and I’m losing a lot of impressions. Any thoughts? I might have to hire someone to help but I don’t quite know how to go about that.

Hi johnnorton. You could adjust the media queries so the sidebar doesn’t collapse but then the main content is going to slide under the sidebar as the viewpost becomes narrower until the point that it’s pushed below the content area. If you want the best chance for additional responses I’d recommend you create a new topic so it’s visible in the forum topic list. Otherwise, based on this topic’s title, someone who might have input for you probably wouldn’t be looking here for your question.

Thanks, bdbrown. I’ll do that. This started out related but kind of wandered.
