How to Format the Background shape behind words in the menu when being hovered o

    Using the twenty twelve theme.

    My client would like the menu items on her site to have this little carrot over them when you hover over them, as this site does: https://jovinna.com/

    Can you help me/point me in the right direction of how I could alter the menu code to make this update?
