Magazine or Community style theme for wp 4.1

    First time poster here.

    Im looking for a 4.1 compatible theme in a Newsletter or Community style for a village community based website and wonder if someone could make some suggestions?

    Ive searched quite extensively but havent found much for v4.1 and im unsure if there is a backwards compatability issue as there is with phpBB.
