    I was wondering how could i make this theme more mobile friendly. the front slider stretches the images way to much vertically. would like it to keep the same proportions for smaller and larger screens .

    PRO version is better mobile friendly. For this one check main.css: wp-content/themes/skt-photo-world/css/main.css

    And make it more mobile friendly from there by having css for different resolutions.
