Problems with menu styling

  • I love this plugin but I have troubles with styling the menus:

    I made demonstrations of different methods and all of them are problematic:

    In the about tab I used the text widget- while the styling of my theme for link hover is orange, here it shows green.
    In the Photo Gallery tab I used the regular dropdown menue and it shows this green background on hover that is not defined anywhere.
    In the contribute tab I used 2 different menue widgets and they both show the green background on hover.
    In the Thank you tab I used the standard submenu option and…..

    Please help me!!!
    (I am using the free virtue theme).

    Thank you for the question, wr megamenu uses its’ default style. You can change it as your desires. You simply following the below steps:

    1.for main menu, you go to styling tab and choose the background menu and background hover: https://i.imgur.com/eyAVyFe.png

    2. for submenu widget, you are still in the styling tab and switch to Submenu Panel. Here you can change the color of the texts (https://i.imgur.com/Mlpnxlo.png)

    3. In order to change the hover text color, you add this code to custom Css Tab

    .wr-megamenu-container a:hover{color:red}

    you can use this tool to choose your favorite color and replace “red” with your color: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp

    1. The background menu and hover in styling change only the menu bar, not the submenu.
    2. The Submenue panel changes only the font color, not the hover
    4. I have applied the code you gave me and the hover is still green…
    Please advise.

    Thank you for the reply, Can you let me know which text color and background hover’s submenu you prefer to change so that i can adjust it for you. Also provide me the temporary admin login account via the private email from our forum here
