No results if excluding category

Hi. Have the latest version of WP (4.1) and latest of the plugin (8.1.3).

The plugin was working fine on one of my large sites with over 2800 posts. My search stopped returning any results after recently updating the plugin. I uninstalled and reinstalled Search Everything and set the options back up one by one. It seems that when I select to exclude a single category it excludes EVERY category. Currently running without exclusions so the search is a bit messy.

Any suggestions?
