Business Directory Region is nor working

Hi Parkhya,

The regions module is built to only show regions in each level of the hierarchy. That is intentional, because if you have extremely large lists of regions, this causes performance problems and users have a difficult time of selecting what they want. Instead, we use the hierarchy where they pick each region in turn, which allows us to generate filtered lists for each subsequent choice.

If you don’t want the users starting from Country, you can change that by making the Region field optional (DON’T DELETE IT! That will cause problems) under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields.

I would also strongly recommend upgrading your core plugin to 3.5.4 ASAP. We have a lot of fixes in there you’ll likely want to have.

Please check i have added regions in Directory -> Manage Regions section. I have also added Listing Region on a listing under Directory -> Add New Listing section. Please check screenshots.

But nothing is display under drop-down menu on directory pages. Can you explain am i doing something wrong? Please help.

The images you’re showing look OK to me. In addition to those, can you show me an image under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields showing your Region fields themselves?

Are you not seeing anything in that drop down at all? That drop down is used to narrow the choices. You start by selecting the country, then the state field is populated with states from the selected country. Then you select a state and the cities from that state fill the city field, and so on.

The fields you’re showing here: https://s1.postimg.org/9erbb0txb/Edit_Listing_Kwyk_Pix_Word_Press.png seems to indicate that you DO have regions populated and set for listings. Perhaps I don’t understand what you mean when you say “nothing is displaying under drop-down menu on directory pages” What specific drop-down do you mean?

There is not any country in drop-down menu on this page. How can we display all countries & states under drop-down to filter result? Please help.
