• I think I’m almost where I need to be, thanks so much for all your help so far. My last issue (until I get really fancy later and implement some kind of search or cloud ?? but just need it up and running right now) is the translation to mobile devices – Is there a way to set columns more dynamically, or resize the images so they get smaller when the width of the column decreases? My theme is responsive but the images in the gallery are overlapping on small screens. I can set the gallery to three columns but on a desktop monitor that’s a lot of wasted space – the images are only 80×80. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the kind words; I am very happy to see your application progress.

The subject of responsive designs has come up before:

    Gallery layout/responsiveness

Suppress output of MLA inline styles?

MLA post_gallery replacement adds extra margin

As you can see, my talents lean towards plugins, not themes; I am more a plumber than a painter.

You can look at your theme to see how it achieves a responsive design. You can suppress MLA’s default styles using mla_style=none and add styles of your own to get the results you want, using CSS3 @media Query to detect screen size and other device attributes.

I am marking this topic “not a support question” just because styles and responsive design is a more general topic. I hope you find a solution that’s compatible with your theme and gives you the results you seek.
