background images on certain pages

    Hello,
    The featured image is not coming up as background on pages where I have a featured image set. The “Do not use featured image as background image.” box is not checked in basic settings of theme options.
    How can I fix this?
    Also is there a way to have a black background on certain pages?

    Hi Kyle,

    Not sure but for a common background for the whole site go to Appearance>Background and set up a background which would be common for the whole site.

    Yes but in the basic settings page there is a box saying “Do not use featured image as background image.” If this box is unchecked shouldn’t the featured image for that page be used as background?
