How to Change a User Password Using MySQL

I forgot my password (I am the administrator). When I try to use the “Forgot password” link, I get an error (it does not send me a reset email). I need to go into MySQL and change the password for my login. I am using MySQL Workbench and I am able to open the wp_users table for edit and see my user and encrypted password. However, when I put in plain text for my password and save (and it does save), that password does not work to login. How can I make the password change using MySQL (MySQL Workbench)? I am now locked out! Yikes. Thanks much for any help.
