Hi and thank you for an excellent plugin. Please help me with one crucial question. In MOBILE USER AGENTS i have inserted webkit
    android
    iphone
    ipad
    blackberry
as the zytrax list didnt work for me (seems outdated? maybe..)..
THis worked fine, but the problem is, it also affects the SAFARI desktop version.. is this because of “iphone and ipad”?
    thanks for your help
    best regards

In the meantime i discovered what affected SAFARi – it was webkit
now my list of MOBILE USER AGENTS include
    android
    iphone
    ipad
    blackberry
    iOS

But for boat browser it only works if i manually change the settings in the boat browser (originally set on desktop view – changed to mobile)..

Any suggestion what i can add in the list and if blackberry and ios make any sense in the list?

Blackberry and ios are good to have. When a mobile browser requests the desktop version of your site you should present the desktop version so seeing the desktop version on your boat browser when you have request desktop version active is correct. If you want to target the boat browser when it requests the desktop version then you would need to add something from it’s browser string. I’m having a hard time finding a browser string for that one. You might also want to add the following though some aren’t very widely used.

    mobile
    bolt
    palm
    series60
    symbian
    fennec
    nokia
    kindle
    minimo
    netfront
    opera mini
    opera mobi
    semc-browser
    skyfire
    teashark
    uzard

Actually ios may not be good to have since it will match any string with ios in it. The word mobile will target all safari mobile versions.
