"Like this" button shows 'Loading…' for ever in individual image page

    Using default core WP 4.1 create a gallery page
    Gallery Settings – Link to “Attachment page”

    Now when you click on an individual thumbnail from the tile of images you are taken to the individual image page ( with next image & previous image links) BUT the “Like this” button shows ‘Loading…’ for ever.

    Expected : the Like Button should show up promptly as it does in other pages.
