Hi Sascha,

We implemented a new forgot password procedure with version 1.26, would you mind giving that a try?

I can’t find any documentation of how to implement this forgot password feature, could you please explain how to do this?

What you would want to do is create a separate page with the forgot-password shortcode, and then another page with the confirm-forgot-password shortcode on it.

For the forgot-password shortcode, you would then add an attribute “reset_email_url” with a value set to whatever URL yo’re using for the confirm-forgot-password shortcode.

I don’t get the email through? This is how I’m writing the shortcode:

[forgot-password reset_email_url="[url]"]

Is this correct?

And you’ve replaced [url] with the correct one? Is the form displaying on the page?

I have the same problem with the forget passw shortcode like the initiator of this post.

I have created, like you described, two seperate pages with forgot-password and confirm-forgot-password shortc.

Both seem to work properly. At least I see the forms when I load these sites individually.

I have used the same code like matt above:
[forgot-password reset_email_url=”[url]”]

the url for the confirm-forgot-password I insert is correct.

BUT when I use the forgot-password form, no email is send to the entered adress. the form answers with “For completing the password reset procedure, please follow the instructions in your email.”

Do you currently have all of the fields filled in on the e-mails tab? If you try sending registration emails, do those send correctly?
