    That all happens in the plugin settings, no need to mess with any codes ??

    I can’t see a way to add

    ga('set', 'anonymizeIP', true);

    with “Enable Universal Analytics” checked in the options panel. It should be inserted after:

    ga('create', 'UA-xxxxx-xx', 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx');

    How can I do it without touching the plugin code?

    It looks like you worked out a way to make it happen..? (based on your other forum post)

    yep, but adding some lines of code to the plugin.

    understood, thanks.

    Hello Jeff,

    I had the same problem: I’d like to add the code snippet to anonymize IP, but had not found a way how to do it using plugin settings, so I ended up extending the plugin code with a new checkbox (actually two checkboxes, cause I also needed force SSL feature).

    If you’d be interested, I’d be happy to send you a patch file with my changes.

    Greetings,
    Ceslav

    Update: Force SSL and Anonymize IP features are both included in the upcoming version of GA Google Analytics. Thank you for your help!
