How to add photos under product category's

Oops, sorry my answer was for another topic.

Do yo mean displaying the images for the products or do you want to have a custom content in your product category archives?

If you navigate to the edit product category screen in your dashboard you’ll be able to set a custom category image there.

Didn’t work. In the link above the image of the storefront theme there is text saying product category’s. Under that is music, posters clothing and a picture for each category. That is what I would like to do with my site.

The instruction posted by jameskoster is the method to do that. Please take note that Woocommerce products has it’s own taxonomy for category, which means it is different to the category for your blog posts.

If you create or edit a product category, you will see in the most bottom part of the form an image field that will allow you to assign an image for that category.
