Change footer – no knowledge of PHP

  • Hi

    I’ve started creating a site using www.ads-software.com. However, the footer shows “proudly powered by WordPress” and I really want to replace that with my own information. I have no idea how to use PHP though.

    Is there another way to do it? I know a bit of HTML and CSS and I’m using the ‘Simple custom CSS’ plugin to make general changes. Can this be used?

    All help greatly welcome.

  • you will need to get familiar with php sooner or later if you want to customize your theme.

    there is a chance that somebody might give you step-by-step instructions if you would post the name of your used theme and post details of what you would like to have instead of the ‘proudly powered’ … (if you are using one of the themes from https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ )
