    Hi,

I contacted my web host server as to why I can’t receive emails even though it says email has been delivered successfully once viewer submits email message. My web host server said that there is a syntax error on their end and that could be the issue as why I’m not receiving incoming emails. And was advise to contact the plugin developer.

Can anyone please help with this ongoing issue of mine? Would like to get this plugin to work asap.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks!

  • Hi,
I’m also with the same issue. Please help us to find a solution.

    Thanks so much!!!

RE: I can’t receive emails even though it says email has been delivered successfully

The green Success message and not receiving any error messages is a very clear indication that CF7 is sending the email.

So your email is probably being seen as spam somewhere in the email process. This is usually due to email headers (in particular the From email address used) or email content.

Important to remember there are a lot of places, other than your spam folder, where emails can be trapped as spam.

See Contact Form 7 Email Issues – this links to a much more comprehensive article which also covers emails being considered spam.??

    Hi,

Still says that email message has been successfully delivered when I test the form on my site. But no incoming messages are coming on my end from the admin end.

    Please advise.

    Thank you!

Please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface.

    Hi,

Here is the link to my Contact Form 7:

I’ve tried all the tested methods stated in the documentation. I can login as admin, but when I tested to see if WordPress installation is able to send emails by clicking the “Lost your Password?” the screen says my username / email doesn’t exist when I enter in my email / username. Why is that? I use the same email to login to my site everyday and I am able to login with my password.

How can I rectify this issue?

Here are all my input in the Form and Mail sections:

    Form:
    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Subject
    [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Your Message
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit “Send”]</p>
    ——————————————————————-
    Mail:
    To:
    m*********@gmail.com
    From:
    [Life With Hank]<[email protected]>
    Subject:
    [your-subject]
    Additional Headers:
    Reply-To: [your-email]

Please help. Most likely I’m missing something very crucial that is causing this issue.

Thank you and looking forward to resolving this issue asap.

    Hi all,

First, I have and easily use Contact 7 form on my own website – no problems!

This client’s contact page, however, is a problem and I have been unable to resolve it.

Here’s the link to her contact page.

Here are the input fields on the form:
    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Subject
    [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Your Message
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit “Send”]</p>

NOTE: I changed the email address in the client’s WordPress dashboard from her roadrunner email to [email protected] as recommended in the Contact7 FAQ. The form generates a message that states ‘success’ but there’s no email in the webmail inbox for her [email protected].

Please offer any suggestions to fix this issue.

Thank you and all the best

    Hi,

Ok… not sure what happened, but I am now receiving emails sent via contact form. The emails are being sent to my email address provided in the “To” section in the “Mail” section, which is good.

Is there a way to also display incoming emails in the wp dashboard?

    Many thanks!

    Hi All,

Take me off the unresolved list. I changed the “To” email address and all is working. Yahooo!
