making changes in theme editor doesn't change anything

  • I used to know my way around wordpress pretty well, but that was years ago and everything has changed so much.

    Right now I’m just trying to use a free theme and make a small modification–the font. I changed all the font-family things in the stylesheet, just using the theme editor in wordpress. I update file. The changes are there in the file. But they are not reflecting on the site. What am I missing?

    (I’ve tried this with two themes so far: Graphy, and Hemingway.)

    Okay, so it is working! But just not on chrome. It is changed on my phone and on firefox. I don’t know why it wouldn’t be working in Chrome. I can change between themes fine, but it won’t show the changed font.
