I’m using the plugin UpdraftPlus. I’ve notice that the plugin creates temporary backups in a directory of your choice before uploading them to Dropbox, for example. What I want is to have permanent copies of these backups in any folder of my wp_content folder, but instead, the plugin only temporarily stores them there and probably deletes them because I can’t find them anywhere else. How can I keep them?

You can find ‘Delete Local Backup’ under ‘Advanced/Debugging Settings’ in the UpdraftPLus settings tab. Uncheck this option, and the backups will be kept in your backup folder (default ‘updraft’)

Thank you, DNutbourne. This works exactly the way I want it. ??
