Good Evening,

For some reason the plugin is using the meta description from my first post on the category page, do you know why? I have added a description for the Category page and I don’t have Autogenerate Descriptions checked.

Btw, I forgot to mention, I tried to implement the interim fix explained in this thread – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/category-meta-description-changed-to-last-post-publish-description-after-update?replies=11#post-6445203 but when I choose that file I am directed to a blank page? Not sure why??

Update, my hosting company increase the memory limit and I can now see the file referenced in the other thread but I’m not clear as to what should be commented out. Could you please advise, if possible, I would like to prevent a ton duplicate meta tags that I am sure will come.

Good Evening,

My amazing hosting company (LiquidWeb) came to the rescue again, not sure how they were able to locate line 1610 but they did! Meta descriptions are generating properly now – thank you so much for providing the fix Peter Baylies.
