Database won't delete old data?

  • I am struggling with wp database. I had some categories and some pages attached to them. Then I made changess on my pages and I changed the pages attached to categories.

    Example:

    I have a category called: White and I attached some pages to it. Then I changed the pages which are attached . Now if in wordpress I do a search for white: I see all old pages attached to that category even tho I have un-attached them.

    I tried WP DB manager or other database optimizers with no luck

  • Hi,

    What you mean by pages? Do you mean posts assigned to categories?
    If you changed category for some posts, delete also cache – if you use some.
    It is not necessary to do something in database.
