Reduce site width size

Also, I suggest you use a child theme https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes or use css custom plugin like this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-custom-css/ if you will customize your theme.

Add the code you in your child theme’s style.css or using the plugin mentioned above.

@media (min-width: 980px) {
    .container {
    width: 1120px;
    }

    #sidebar {
        width: 330px;
    }
}

This will reduce your site width to 1120px.

Just checked your site and it appears that Calvins code is working as you can see in this screenshot https://screencast.com/t/QOYaSATCU2H8.

Maybe it is just a caching issue, please try to clear browser cache and then check for changes.

True it reduces but leaves another problem. See attached image
