Error in German translation of "Enable Captcha On Login Page"?

    Hi there,

    when I activate the function “Enable Captcha On Login Page” in my German WP installation, I often get a captcha which reads “drei x vier” (3 x 4), which I get marked as wrong a lot of times (not always!), but often enough I’m quite sure it’s not a typo / fault on my side. In my book, “drei x vier” (3 x 4) needs an input of “12” always! But quite often, I get an error here…

    Could you maybe check on this?

    Hi Thomas do you have a cache plugin installed in your website?

    Yes, actually I do (Quick Cache Pro). Could that have something to do with it?

    Hi it might have something to do with your issue. I have used Quick Cache free version in the past and this plugin without an issue. However the Pro version has many extras and I wonder if one of those extras might cause this issue.

    Thanks for getting back! I have to admit that I am NOT very annoyed by this issue but I thought as it might be an error in the transation (?), I’d post it here just for the sake of bug hunting ??

    I do have some of the PRO only options of quick chache enabled, so it might be caused by them. BUT I would prefer to have a quicker website and a tiny little bug than vice versa ??

    So if it’s not fixed, I can live with that.

    Hi Thomas, it might be a conflict with another plugin as well or the theme. I pointed to the cache because your system points to a cache issue but as mentioned it could be something else.

    I understand the importance of speed especially for SEO purposes.

    Hi there,

    some days ago I had the “grandiose idea” that I could exclude the login URL from being cached via the Quick Cache plugin options and it seems like this has solved my issue 100%.

    Thus I am marking this topic as resolved ??
