Remove Favicon

Hi there…
I uploaded a favicon through theme options and then I had to remove it for some reason. But I am still getting it in the head of my site and also not able to get my site’s name back in that place Eg.(sample.com). I can see just the favicon.I had done the settings of cookies and cache but to no use.
Please tell the alternate way out for this.
