• Hello,

The installation in question is using WordPress 4.1 with buddypress 2.1.1

I am facing a problem wherein I have added an extra profile field called “birthday” under my “users > profile fields” section.

I have chosen the field type as “Date Selector” and have kept the “Field Requirement” selected as “Required”.

However when I load the registration form while testing it for a mobile via “https://mobiletest.me” website, the label for that field does not show.

It simply directly shows the date selector fields without the label which will be confusing for people and they might not figure that that field is for the “birthday” information.

The same for a registered user, when he/she access the “profile edit” page and the same field within that form.

So my question is, how do I get the label to a “Date Selector” form field to show under mobile view?

PS: I note that if I assign another form field like say “Text Box” for the same, the issue does not surface, meaning the form field label shows along-with the form field. This issue only occurs when the form field is set to “Date Selector”

This will require a minor fix, hope the buddypress/wordpress guys jump into this & fix it at the earliest.

I am open to alternative solutions by others in the community too. Thanks in advance.
