Send Buyer info back to Woocommerce from Paypal?

    Hi,

    My boss does not like people to have to type in their name, address etc. if the person has a paypal account. So we made it so they can check out without entering any of that.

    But now of course, there’s no buyer data in woocommerce on our site. I told him he can’t have it both ways. Or can he??

    Is there a way to send (or pull) the data for multiple orders from paypal back to woocommerce on the site?

    One way is to use PayPal Express. Here https://www.woothemes.com/products/paypal-express/

    OK, do I just need that plugin, or do I have to change something in the paypal account as well?

    And it will allow getting the customer info back from paypal into our site?

    If you have PayPal premiere or business account, you can use PayPal Express. And the checkout flow would be that users see the PayPal Express checkout button either in the cart or checkout ( depending on your settings ). User is then taken to the PayPal login page, after payment, the user is redirected back to your site to finish up. The information will be passed back.

    Nice! Even though our WC checkout buttons check out through paypal, he was saying he likes when he sees that yellow “Check out with paypal” button so he can just use paypal instead of entering info on the site. He want that for our site.

    So even though we have the existing checkout already going through paypal, this would be better if it passes the info back. Is there a way to make this one the only button on the checkout? The screen shot on the page show both.

    Yes, it is all in the settings.
