    Hello,

    I am currently on the latest 3.5.5 version of Business Directory. I have problems in the last updates.

    When a registrant wishes to highlight its announcement, I manually send him the link to select and pay their subscription. However, he did manage to connect. An error capcha appears. And besides, the capcha does not appear on the form. I tried by disconnecting me and testing with the identifiers of the subscriber, I have the same error Capcha. How to display this capcha so that subscribers can highlight their ads or renew their subscriptions?

    Second problem: the latest ads now come to me without pre-defined category, ie without the category that the user has chosen. How can I restore it?

    Sorry you ran into issues here.

    For the first problem, I’m not sure what you mean by the error captcha that you see. Can you please show me a screenshot of what you end up seeing? I’m thinking it may be related to a recent update from Google that we saw issues with.

    For the pre-defined category, I’m not sure where you see this behavior. Is it during edit or submit listing phase? Is it on the backend or the front end? Can you show me a screenshot of that?

    “Merci de compléter le capcha signifie” signifie : “Thank you to complete the capcha.”

    Does it seem , the problem appears on all ads : this morning, an announcement came with a pre- defined category.

    Hi darius1000,

    OK–for the first issue, that could be an conflict going on with a captcha plugin that isn’t related to BD. We should test this. Can you try the following test?

    For the second one–there’s no notion of a “default” category when you are placing ads on the admin dashboard. We do it as a convenience for the user up front, but mostly because they need more help than an admin placing the ads. If you’re doing listings as the admin, the expectation is that you’re either correcting something the user did or manually entering it for them, but you still have to pick the category either way. Sorry if that’s confusing.

    Hello,

    For the firt issue, i try the test and it does not change. I disabled all the plugin, except BD and the capcha still does not appear. Then, I disabled my custom theme and activated the theme “Twenty Eleven” : there is still no capcha.
    However, the difference is that I no longer access the second page of connection https://www.artisans-ales.fr/capture2.tiff. I stay on the first page https://www.artisans-ales.fr/capture1.tiff but I ‘m still not connected with customer IDs.

    For the second issue, I know there’s no notion of a “default” category. I never creates the ads myself. I was speaking only of the category that the subscriber has chosen himself when he created his announcement. Well this category, it is no longer displayed forever. In the back end, sometimes no category is selected, so I do not always know which category was selected by the subscriber.
