• Hello all,
follow problem:i have a site where members can upload his own content, media for content and so…
the normally don’t have access to media-files uploaded by me as admin. i have already install another plugin aam media manager and was able to give access to media files. but i will have it so that member have only access to special media files, not all , only for one extra folder in media.this plugin here allowed to make extra folders…what is very good…Is that possible to encrypt certain folders with passwords, or to give only this one folder free for access?
    kindly
    Carsten

Thank you for your question and for the reference to Advanced Access Manager (AAM) and its features for controlling access to Media Library items.

I regret that I can think of nothing in the current Media Library Assistant version that can help you encrypt folders or files, or to give folder-specific access capabilities. I do not have any plans to add these features in a future MLA version either.

I do not have any experience with AAM, but perhaps there is something in that plugin that can be of use. I suggest you post your question in the AAM Support Forum and see if they can assist you.

I am marking this topic “not a support question” because there’s nothing MLA can do for you, but thank you for your interest in MLA.
