2 column menu drop down not working

  • Am using 2012 theme, i would like to create a 2 column dropdown menu, have added relevent code to my css and added to the admin menu section add a css style (sub-menu selector) which is in my style sheet but it wont pick it up
    Can anyone help as have posted quite a few times and no one seems to have an answer
