How to center the navigation menu

How do you center the nav bar by either changing the default css or by overriding with custom css.
I’m also using bootstrap and have the navbar in a container div if that helps.
The site is local right now so unfortunately seeing it isn’t possible.
If anyone has some CSS I could see that would be great.
