How to remove sidebars from Hueman theme

  • Hi wwpress101. In Theme Options > Styling > Global Layout, select the layout with no sidebars, then set all the other layouts to the “X” so they will inherit the Global layout, then Save Changes. Leave all the individual post and page layouts as the default “X” so they also inherit the Global layout.

    Thank you for responding. That is what I have in theme options>layout>global layout all the rest “x”s and I still have a grey area as if a place holder where the sidebar would be?? https://infraredheat.apps-1and1.com/

    Your body tag is showing this:

    <body class="home page page-id-6 page-template-default col-2cr full-width chrome s1-collapse s2-collapse" cz-shortcut-listen="true">

    The “col-2cr” means 2 columns with content on the right. If the Theme Options Layouts are all set to full page, check the home page (page-id-6) layout.

    Sorry I am really really new to this… The theme options are totally all turned off except the Global layout which is set to full. Where do I find “home page” layout?? I don’t know what page-id-6 means?? sorry

    No problem. THe page/post id is displayed in the browser address bar when you edit the page. In this case it would be your home page. It would be something like this:

    yoursite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=6&action=edit

    The permalink under the page title might look something like this:

    Permalink: https://yoursite.com/?page_id=6

    If you scroll down the page, below the editor, you’ll see a “Layout” option for that page. Make sure it’s set to the default “X” or the full page setting.
